- I am a huge Southern Gospel Music fan. I blame this on my dad. From as early as I can remember, we were always listening to SGM. I also love Christian hip-hop/rap. I have the most diverse music collection than anyone I know.
- As a child I was always fearful of anyone in my family getting sick. When a family member got sick, I freaked out. I have worked in a doctor's office for 14 years now. Figure that one out!
- My parents and I travel to various churches and minister in music. We have been singing together as a family since the day my parents got married. Our group's name is Restored.
- I really dislike Wal-Mart.
- I think volleyball is the best sport ever invented and Stephen and I play as often as we can.
- If I'm not careful, I can turn into a hermit very easily. I love being at home.
- I am very proud and blessed to have a 14+ year no vomit streak. It's a competition that Stephen and I have and I am the current champion.
- I love all things Apple (computers that is)
- I prefer gummy/chewy candy over chocolate.
- I lead worship at my church every Sunday.
- The only exercise I will actually do on a regular basis is swim laps.
- I have regular dreams about tornados. I have always been intrigued by the weather. I blame this on my mom. Growing up she always had a comment about how the sky looked. This is a trait she got from her dad.
- When I was 5 years old I realized that I needed Jesus. The best decision I have ever made in my life was to choose to follow Him.
- The 2nd best decision I ever made was to become Stephen's wife. He has an unwavering passion for God and is the biggest encourager in my life. I love his joy and his goofiness. He makes me laugh and knows how to lead me.
- I have 2 beautiful children, Lydie & Samson. This is a statement I can't quite wrap my brain around yet. I miss them terribly and can't wait to have them home.
- I have the most amazing friends in the world. They are each precious gifts from God.
- Santa Barbara is my favorite place to visit, but I prefer to live in Iowa.
- I am cold all the time. Even on the hottest day of the year you may find me snuggling under a blanket.
- I love anything peach or raspberry.
- I love hanging out with my family and I wish it was possible for me to see them more than I do.
